Vitamins That Clash Together

Different vitamins can sometimes clash with each other when it comes to absorption. 

Vitamins C and B12

Vitamin C and  B12 are both essential nutrients, but they can interfere with each other's absorption when taken together. Tip: Keep a gap of at least 2 hours between vitamin C and B-12.

Calcium and Iron

Calcium can prevent the absorption of iron when consumed with iron-rich foods Tip:  Consume calcium-rich foods and iron-rich foods at different times of the day.

Vitamin C and Iron

Vitamin C helps in enhancing the absorption of iron in body. Tip: People with access iron should try to avoid vitamin C with iron rich foods.

Vitamins D, E + K

The absorption of vitamin K seems to be most affected when taken with moderate to large doses of vitamin D and E Tip: Maintain at least 2 hour gap and consume with some dietary fat to optimize absorption.
